Wax Composition: Consists of Refined Paraffin waxes, Microcrystalline Waxes and Color Pigments. These components impart the performance properties of modern sealing waxes when compared to original formulas– the wax is more viscous, denser and tackier. It has a higher melting point and is, in general, more elastic and adhesive. This is why this modern waxes work so much better with stamping, retaining a good impression and being adhesive during the mailing process.
This wax is non-flammable and safe for transport.
Modern Sealing Waxes are:
• FDA certified for Direct Food Contact (Glue Gun and Bead Wax only).
• Non Toxic as long as not ingested
• Vegan - the wax is not animal derived and not tested on animals
They are NOT:
• biodegradable or recyclable
• Natural
CAUTION: When working with sealing wax, please exercise caution and care in the use of this product, especially with an open flame. Sealing wax is not recommended for use by young children without adult supervision.

This green is of course perfect for Christmas, but it can really be used all year. A must to have on hand.

Great color for spring
Beautiful color and great texture. You can tell that it?s a good quality wax when you use it. I originally purchased wax from Amazon and it was horrible, felt like plastic. Very happy with my purchase and will buy again from Nostalgic Impressions.

It was my first time using a wicked stick, so it took a couple tries to get it right but all errors were mine. The product worked well, left a sturdy seal, and the color was as expected.

Nice dark green color. I wish it was a bit more glossy, but the sticks were easy to use. I got all my wedding invitations done faster than I had thought. One of the sticks was defective, however. The wick kept going out, which made a bit of mess when I had to keep relighting it and the wax that did melt onto my envelope got cold. After 4 difficult tries, I threw that stick away. The others worked beautifully though. Nice discount if you buy more.

The wax is very nice, and makes a great seal. The problem is with the wick: either it does t burn at all, or it snuffs itself quickly. It's quite difficult to keep the flame going long enough and high enough to melt enough wax for a seal. I use a torch lighter to melt the wax, ignoring the wick.
